I’m Anna, a wedding photographer based in Windermere in the Lake District, capturing relaxed, natural weddings across Cumbria and beyond.

I’ve photographed weddings across many Lake District venues including Storrs Hall, Cragwood, Hause Hall, Gilpin Lake House, Merewood and Linthwaite House, as well as celebrations across the UK and Europe.
Every wedding is a little different, so I keep things simple and flexible. Most couples invest between £720 and £2100 depending on coverage, with options for intimate weddings and full-day celebrations.

Step 2. BUILD THE STORY
Once we connect, we’ll create a plan that fits you. Have a timeline? Great. Need help? No problem, I’ll guide you through timings.
Book a full day and enjoy a complimentary engagement shoot, a chance to get to know each other.
A month before, we’ll finalise details. A week out, I’ll reconfirm arrival times.
You’ll always have direct access to call or WhatsApp me with any questions.
Step 3.

On the day, you get to be fully present. I’ll blend in and capture the laughter, joy and everything in between.

A couple of highlight photographs are with you within 48 hours and your full gallery delivered within 4 weeks.

Wedding Photography FAQs
How much coverage do we need for our wedding?
Every wedding is different, so I keep things flexible. Some couples want just a few hours to cover a ceremony and portraits, while others prefer full-day coverage. I’m always happy to help you decide what will suit your plans best.
Do you photograph elopements and smaller weddings?
Yes, I love photographing intimate weddings and elopements in the Lake District. Smaller days often feel incredibly personal and relaxed, and I approach them in exactly the same way as larger weddings.
Can we order an album after the wedding?
Yes — many couples choose to decide after they’ve seen their photos. I can design a simple, story-led album for you so you can see how everything comes together, with no pressure to commit.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 4 weeks. I will send you a small selection of preview images within 48 hours too.
How many pictures will we receive?
My style is narrative and my coverage comprehensive. Your gallery will show your celebration from start to finish. The number of photographs I capture varies on season, location and individual circumstances but you can expect 30-50 images per hour of photographing.
Will you HELP US TO FEEL COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
Absolutely. Most people feel nervous at first. I’ve worked for 15 years as a commercial and sports model so I really do understand how it feels to be in front of the camera and I know that when you feel uncomfortable you don’t get the best photographs. I really work to make you feel relaxed so you forget the camera and just enjoy the moment. Better experience and better photographs!
do you require a deposit for wedding photography?
Yes, a 30% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due four weeks before your wedding.
DO YOU WORK ALONE OR WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?
I depends on the couple and the wedding and this is something we can discuss, you can add a second photographer for larger weddings or multi-location days.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes, I love engagement sessions! They’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, for us to meet each other explore scenic Lake District spots. For full wedding day coverage I offer a complimentary mini engagement shoot here in the Lake District.
Will you share our photos online or on social media?
I’m proud of my work and feel joyful sharing it. However if you prefer me not to feature you on my social media or website just let me know and I’ll respect your privacy preferences completely.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot with professional full-frame cameras, multiple lenses, and backup gear to ensure nothing is left to chance. My choice of camera brand is Canon. I love natural light but I do use flash lighting when natural lighting isn’t ideal, for example evening party images or wedding speeches in a dimly lit barn venue.
