These sessions are calm and unhurried. We wander, chat, explore a little, and I photograph you simply as you are. No tight schedules, no posing marathons, no pressure. Just the two of you, the landscape, and that brilliant, joyful feeling of being married.
What is a Lake District Minimoon or Honeymoon Photography Session?
They’re more common than you might think! A post wedding photography session takes place a few days or weeks after your wedding.
We head somewhere that feels good. It might be a fell you’ve always loved or somewhere new, it might include a picnic on a lakeshore or dip in your favourite tarn. You can dress back up in your wedding outfits, bring a second look, or stay warm and cosy in your boots and jackets. We follow the weather, take our time, and let the day unfold however it wants to.
My job is to guide you gently, then melt into the background while you simply enjoy being together.
Mini-moon magic, day-after glow, or honeymoon adventure
These sessions are perfect a couple of days after your wedding — when everything has softened and you’re floating slightly above the ground. They work beautifully during a mini-moon too, or any time you want to mark a moment in your story.
What matters is that you’re together, outdoors and having fun. That joy always shows.

Some couples meet me for a relaxed hour, others plan a full day and I’m happy to storyboard this for you based on your ideas — whatever fits the experience you want.
We plan around the light, check the forecast, and go with what feels right. Bring a jacket, a flask, champagne, your dog — whatever makes you feel at ease. Afterward, you’ll receive a gallery full of honest, joyful images that tell the story of your time together.
It’s all very relaxed. No performance. No rush. Just a chance to be yourselves in a place that feels like home.
