A Destination Wedding Celebration at Manoir de la Noë Verte, Lanloup, France

Earlier this summer, I had the joy of photographing Kristie and Hugh during their beautifully intimate church wedding in North Wales. The soft early-summer light, the rolling hills and the warmth of family set the perfect tone, but the celebrations were only just beginning. A few months later, I packed my bags and crossed the channel to northern France, to join Kristie and Hugh again for an unforgettable second celebration at the stunning Manoir de la Noë Verte in Lanloup.

Nestled in the peaceful Breton countryside, the Manoir instantly felt like a dream: rose-covered stone walls, sun-washed courtyards, and endless green space that seemed made for a party. The morning began with a party atmosphere bridesmaids laughing, lots of music and everyone getting ready in that relaxed, easy going way that only destination weddings seem to create.

One of my favourite parts? The family dogs taking centre stage in the outdoor ceremony. As the couple exchanged vows beneath the trees, with the dogs happily circling!

As the sun dropped lower, the festivities came alive. The courtyard filled with cheers during the bouquet toss, guests flowing between tables of incredible French food, glasses clinking under strings of lights. And then, of course, the after-party — a wild, joy-fuelled celebration that carried late into the night.

From the quiet charm of North Wales to the grandeur of a French destination wedding, this wedding was a celebration in every sense. A weekend full of beauty, laughter, family (dogs included), and unforgettable moments — exactly the kind of story I love to tell through photographs.
