I’m Anna, a Lake District wedding photographer based in Windermere in the heart of the Cumbria and capturing weddings, elopements and vow renewals, from Windermere and Ambleside to Buttermere and Grasmere.
Inspired by nature and genuine connection, my work is rooted in honest storytelling. Whether your day looks like a celebration at a beautiful Lake District venue, a relaxed gathering with your favourite people, or an intimate “just us” moment in the hills.

Getting Married in the Beautiful Lake District
The Lake District is one of the most magical places to say “I do” in the UK.
Whether you’re exchanging vows on the shores of Lake Windermere, hiking into the fells for an adventurous elopement, or gathering with loved ones in a rustic barn or country house, the Lake District brings a sense of freedom and timeless beauty that few places can match.
As a wedding photographer based in Windermere, right in the heart of the Lake District, I really do know this landscape deeply. I’ve photographed celebrations in elegant country estates, cosy stone barns and contemporary lakefront retreats. And if a traditional venue doesn’t quite fit, we can head into the hills or find a quiet woodland glade for a ceremony surrounded by nature. Lots of couples choose to combine both: a civil ceremony in town, followed by an elopement-style shoot in the wild the same or next day.

Anna, where do I start! Anna communicated with me months prior to the wedding about my initial ideas and was in the background every step of the way whilst choosing the venue. No idea I had was too adventurous for her and she brought every dream to life. Anna becomes a guest at your wedding, seamlessly fitting in with your family and friends. Because of this everyone around her feels at ease in her presence and the raw emotions she captures from the calm she brings are outstanding as there is no shy away from her or the camera. I had previews the very next day and a full album two weeks later. Anna’s pricing is incredible considering she is hiking up hills and waterfalls to capture a dream! I can’t recommend her enough. I wish I could do it all again and I would pick Anna every single time!
